What is Yule Log?Yule Log is an annual food drive event combined with a field meet competition. Trail Life and American Heritage Girls troops from across the Southeast are invited to participate. The primary mission of the Yule Log event is to collect food for the local food banks in anticipation of the holiday season. One of Trail Life's Statement of Values is that God calls us to become responsible members of our community and the world through selfless acts that contribute to the welfare of others. Our goal is to collect as many cans of food as possible to help make needy families holiday season very special.

COST: $12 per person and as many cans per Trailman as possible - all paid attendees will receive an event patch
This event is designed to be a holiday food drive, so please do not come empty-handed. Competition ribbons are nice decorations to hang on your troop flag, but food donations make a positive difference in someone's life. This represents truly outstanding community service at a time when it is so desperately needed.
This is an incentive for the troops to break out their best culinary skills to compete amongst the troops for the best Chili in camp. The troop that is determined to have the best Chili, will receive a "golden spoon" award that will go on their troop flag and the troop that brings the most cans for the food drive, will eat the Chili of the winning cook-off troop.
